At TaskLite, we believe your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your information in our local-first application.

1. Data Collection & Storage

TaskLite is designed as a local-first application. This means:

• Local Storage: Your tasks, notes, and preferences are stored primarily on your device using a local SQLite database.
• PocketBase Sync: If you choose to enable synchronization, your data is transmitted to your personal PocketBase instance. We do not host or have access to your sync server.

2. Apple Watch Synchronization

The TaskLite Apple Watch extension uses high-performance native connectivity (WatchConnectivity) to sync data directly between your iPhone and Watch. This data never leaves your local hardware during the transfer process.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not share, sell, or rent your data to third parties. We do not use tracking pixels, analytics engines, or advertising networks inside the app.

4. Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally, you have total control over it. You can delete your data at any time by simply deleting the app from your device or wiping your personal PocketBase instance.
